Here are a few other packing tips when learning how to pack

Packing Tip: Plan out exactly what you are going to move into your new home and consider short-term and long-term storage options if needed.  When considering storage options, take into account length of time and total cost of storage vs. length of time in storage.  You’d be surprised how many people will spend thousands of dollars storing items that have very little value.

Packing Tip: Do not pack flammables and combustibles. Get rid of your petrol, paints, and empty the gasoline in your lawn mowers and weed whackers before moving. Also contact your local gas grill distributor for the safest method to drain your barbeque propane tank.

Packing Tip: For packing dishes, wrap them individually with packing paper, wrap 4-6 wrapped dishes together in a bundle. Be sure to stand them upright in a heavy duty box. Do NOT lay flat.  For larger platters and plates use your towels and other small linens for wrapping.
